Nail CareBack in 1999-2000, it was Connie who brought me for my 1st pedicure. We went to a small shop in city plaza. Small, squeezy and 'not so hygiene' shop but good skills. The manicurist was so confident that I can keep my nails long, nice and beautiful after few treatments! Trusted her so much that I frequent them every 3 weeks. Indeed, thru the months, my toe nails became longer, beautiful, besides, my heels / sole became smoother and softer, lesser dry and hard skin.
Beginning 2002, I decided to pick up the skills, t4, started scouting around for workshops until Lynn and myself found NAILBAR, The Specialist Center, we signed up for the basic mani & pedi course. Just before we completed the basic course, we decided to take up the full professional course. The course includes nail scrulptures, acrylic and gel applications, nail anatomy, nail extensions etc... We took about 4 months to complete the course, that includes alot of hands on practice on real models.

After we completed our course, Lynn and myself intended to start up a small counter at Pasir Ris. Back than in 2002, it was the beginning of the boom on mani/pedi. We gave up the intention eventually being too afraid we cannot get back the revenue that is equal or more than our stable job then. I did not give up, until... 6 years later....
Recently, I decided to refresh what I have learnt and intend to apply them onto friends, relatives and those that are interested to make their hands/feet beautiful. Looking beautiful is basic instinct especially on woman, so, I spend sometime in finding out more about products to enhance my venture. Read more on some of the products I am using. Give me a call if you intend to pamper your hands & legs... they are our most important part of our body... love them more...
Hair CareTo be able to cut or styling hair was my childhood dream. Remembered when I was in my teens, I used to cut my own hair... until my classmate asked me "who cut your hair for you, why so funny on 1 side???"... kua kua... There was once I left the house for school, someone in the same lift told me "girl, you have a roller on your head!".... ooooohhhhh, so embarassing!!!
Wanted to take up hairdressing after my 'O' levels but mum disagree to it... After I started working, going for nice hair cut, color, highlighting was my passion. J salon at goodwood park is my favourite place to visit until today. June gives me a good hair cut even her prices are sooooo expensive.
Recently, I took up hairdressing course at Sengkang CC. Wow, it was so interesting... completed the basic course on 17/2/09 (8 weeks course), upgrading to intermediate on 24/2/09.
My recent research and experiences was HERBAL HAIR TREATMENT. Started doing this since December 2008. Using the most traditional herbal leave powder with chinese herbs to enhance the benefits of HERBAL HAIR TREATMENT.
Read more of my findings as you browse my blog and also do give me a call if you need help on treating hair loss, covering gray hair without harmful chemicals.

ReplyDeleteJust wanted to share some information that may help busy professionals caught up with work and who have less time to maintain their nails. You can try out gel nails which are now becoming a hot favorite as they are natural looking even without nail tips and the best way for nail enhancement. Also, if you are allergic to those strong smelling chemicals which you can experience with acrylic nails, then you should use gel nails as these are odorless.
However, when you are planning on gel nail application, make sure you approach a nail salon or a nail artist who is well versed with gel nails and is properly trained and mastered in gel applications. This will save you from problems that can arise with improper gel nail applications.
